Circle C Ranch Amenities & Location
Circle C has Hill Country pretty trees and greenery as well as views and trails that include more than 460 park acres.
It also has access to the MOPAC Expressway, Loop 1 for a short drive to downtown Austin.
MOPAC has been improving continually, and the long-awaited SH-45 SW tollway has been finished to connect the southern part of MOPAC and the Eastern end of SH-45 SW at Greyrock Ridge with FM-1826 in Hays County making using the MOPAC easier to do.
Circle C is also near Zilker Park and Lake Austin.
The Barton Creek Square Mall is located at the corner of Loop 360 and MOPAC is nearby.
Southpark Meadows is a popular shopping area close to Circle C Ranch on IH-35.
Shoppers will love the close by Escarpment Village, Parkside Village, and the Shops at Arbor Trails, both with many shopping options.
Nearby is the 3.17 mile, 23 foot wide Veloway, made specifically for biking and rollerblading. Zilker Park is close to the Circle C area.
Golfers can go to the Grey Rock Golf Club to get their golf and tennis in. The Circle C Tennis club is another great option for tennis enthusiasts.
Residents have easy access to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center which is another fun place to visit.
Slaughter Creek Trail is a nearby trail homeowners in the area can access.
Circle C HOA & Amenities
The Circle C Ranch HOA is mandatory for all homeowners in the community. The payments and membership go toward the upkeep of the community.
The Circle C community has a handful of great amenities for residents.
There is a Swimming Center with the only heated, outdoor, Olympic-sized pool in Central Texas.
There is also a Circle C Community Pool with a slide, beach entry and splash pad, that opened in 2012 at the corner of LaCross Avenue and Spruce Canyon Drive.
There are also two more community centers that include other swimming areas Circle C Ranch Residents can use that are located in the Greyrock Ridge neighborhood and in the Avana neighborhood.
There is the Grey Rock Golf Club, that used to be known as the Circle C Golf Club and is now owned by Austin City.
Some homes in two gated neighborhoods, Muirfield and Fairway Estates, are built along the Grey Rock course’s front nine holes. Other portions of Grey Rock Golf Club are alongside the Avana subdivision.
Grey Rock Tennis Club located in the Golf Club is great for tennis enthusiasts and offers 8 lighted courts, a pro shop and more.
There is also a Circle C Child Development Center, and a Neighborhood Fire Station that is near the intersection of Escarpment Boulevard and SH-45 SW.
Additionally there is an Escarpment Village shopping center with an HEB, Wachovia Bank, Starbucks, Waterloo Icehouse and other shops.
Parkside Village is another shopping area in Circle C Ranch.
Parks area also abundant in Circle C with some 462 acres of the Circle C Park total. The parks are natural for the most part and include biking and hiking trails.
Two parks have been developed for resident use, the Metropolitan Park, past Escarpment at 6301 W. Slaughter Lane, has soccer fields for children in the South Austin Youth Soccer Association. The park also has many oak trees and includes a children’s playground and picnic tables, a basketball court, a Frisbee golf course, and other trails. The other park is the Veloway which is a 23-foot wide, more than 3 mile long, asphalt-paved track built on over 100 acres of parkland for bikers and rollerbladers to use. Foot traffic and vehicles are not allowed on the Veloway. The Veloway trail is located on La Crosse across the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflaower Center, and is open during daylight hours.
Circle C Park
Nearby, the Circle C Metropolitan Park off Slaughter lane has options for basketball, soccer, and a 2 mile trail. It also includes playscapes.
Circle C Pool
The Circle C Swim Center allows residents to enjoy an outside heated pool with a lap area, that has a slide and splash pad. There is also a playscape and sand volleyball in the area.
There is also an Avana Swim Center.

Circle C Ranch Schools
All residents will need to check with the school districts to see which their home falls into. Many homeowners in the area go to the Austin Independent School District Schools.
Circle C itself is so big that elementary students go to one of four different schools, middle school students go to one of two schools. This is not guaranteed as boundaries change over time, however to see which schools any specific home falls under you will need to check the address with the Austin ISD.
