Crosswinds Kyle is around half-way between Kyle and Buda and in Hays County. It is on the East side of IH-35. You can get there on Windy Hill Road by taking exit #217 and going East where you’ll find the Crosswinds entrance on the Right, across from the Shadow Creek entrance.
Crosswinds Home Builders
Three builders worked on the Crosswinds homes, Pacesetter Homes, Gehan Homes and Highland Homes.
Crosswinds officially opened in May of 2017.

Crosswinds is conveniently located by many shopping areas, restaurants and activities. You can visit a nearby Home Depot and EVO Entertainment building across from IH-35 in Kyle, near Crosswinds.
You can also visit the Kyle Marketplaces, Kyle Crossing, and Village at Kyle. Nearby stores are HEB, Target, WalMart, Lowes, and many more.
The Ascension Seton Medical Center Hays is a nearby medical facility that opened in 2009.
Those who like to golf will enjoy Kyle’s Plum Creek Golf Course.
There are also nearby parks residents can access including the Lake Kyle Park and Steeplechase Park.
The Crosswinds location has easy access to IH-35, a road that connects San Antonio and Austin. The SH-130 toll road is also close to Crosswinds to its North, and you can take this road to the Austin Airport ABIA, Round Rock, Pflugerville, or Georgetown to try to skip some of the high traffic areas.

Keep in mind school district boundaries area always changing, so it is necessary to check with the city to determine your home’s current school boundary.
According to the Crosswinds education page, many homes in the Crosswinds area are part of the Hays Consolidated Independent School District.
