Steiner Ranch is a master-planned community by Taylor Woodrow located on the South shore of Lake Travis and North side of Lake Austin. It is commonly known as the “Land Between the Lakes” and the area include beautiful hills overlooking 800+ acres of nature preserve.

The Steiner Ranch community itself is located on 4,600 acres, and has many amenities that give it a resort-like feel.

Steiner Ranch is close to Lake Travis, so residents are able to fish, boat and do other water-based activities on the lake.

Those who love the water will enjoy the Steiner Ranch boat ramp that gives access boating, fishing and more is available on the lake.

For those who prefer a spa day over a day on the water, the Lake Austin Spa is also right next to the boat ramp, making it convenient to choose a spa day or boat day, whichever you prefer.

Residents can visit the Westridge Park located in the Steiner Ranch community.

There are a handful of other parks near Steiner Ranch including Commons Ford Ranch Park and Emma Long Metropolitan Park.

Construction of the area started in 1988. The nature in the area includes 12 miles of walking trails inside the Steiner Ranch community. The community includes the UT Golf Club where the University of Texas Golf team practices.

The Steiner Ranch location is very convenient. It is a relatively short 30-45 minute drive from Austin’s downtown area.

Residents have easy access to the Four Points Shopping Center, a 125,612 square foot retail center in Northwest Austin. HEB makes up 89,650 square feet of the center, and there are many service shops and restaurant shops, making it a destination for those in the area.

The Steiner Ranch community has many students who attend the Leander Independent School District schools. Keep in mind all homeowners must verify their specific school district with the school district and city as boundaries are specific to home location and ever-changing.
